Lilian Dare

Born 192AA (30 years old)

Lilian "Lili" Dare was born in Coastline on Orion. Her mother, Olivia, was the illegitimate daughter of the famous Orion explorer Bertrand Dune. Lilian grew up hearing the stories about her grandfather's explorations and wanted desperately to follow in his footsteps. Her father, Jonathon, divorced Olivia in 200AA and moved with his daughter to Province.

In 210AA Lilian enrolled in the Orionis University. There she met and fell in love with Sal Arcuri, the modern-day explorer not unlike her grandfather, who was finishing up his doctorate. Years later, they explored many uncharted areas of the planet, but she grew weary of travel and longed to settle down and start a family. Sal's reluctance to commit to that life drove them apart. She became an administrator at the university. Their relationship turned somewhat icy after he was offered a teaching position at the university. Though they remain professional acquaintances, their relationship is somewhat tense.

(More to come on this...)
-------

This is a new character from the Extrasolar universe created with my friend :iconariel-x:

She's still very much a work in progress, but story-wise and in print.

Thank you very much! :) I used Poser for the character morph and posing, then imported into Vue. The plants and buildings were all done in Vue. I really like the way Poser renders, but I'm not so good with making entire scenes with it. I prefer Vue. ;)

Well, you do an awesome job with your tools and skills! I love the material editor in Vue, though it's all about what you're used to, I suppose. I've only dabbled a bit in Poser's editor. I usually tweak the textures anyway in Vue since some of the highlight settings don't transfer over properly.
